Повышение качества учебных программ и курсов, учебников и методических пособий, обеспечение материально-технического оснащения учебного процесса, последовательность и соответствие ступеней профессионального образования, согласованность взаимоотношений средней и высшей школы, подготовка студентов к действиям на рынке труда, исполнение социального заказа на специалистов, приведение в соответствие Закона «Об образовании», с Налоговым, Бюджетным и Гражданским кодексами, четкое определение статуса вузов - являются насущными проблемами современного образования, решение которых требует координации действий вузов, правительства, федеральных министерств и ведомств, органов образования и властей на местах.

Presently progress of society directly depends on the level of education of all population. Today production needs not simply people with technical education, but the professionals of a wide profile, people owning at once several adjacent professions. Not only economic, but also sociocultural development of the country needs high education level of the population.
In a situation of qualitatively new level of social and economic development of the Republic of Tatarstan, new requirements to a level of human and a manpowerdevelopment, staffing of the enterprises of the republic becomes a priority problem of activity of all executive authorities andof business community.
The state and level of development of industries of the republic have paramount value for ensuring national security and in many respects define modernization and technological progress in the most important spheres of economy. Falling of prestige of technical education, an imbalance of supply and demand in labor market, the growing volumes of information and its fast obsolescence, development of technology and technologies and, in this regard, increased requirements to competences of experts from employers are the small list of the reasons which cause search of new forms of the organization of educational system. The current and perspective problems of development of economy of the Republic of Tatarstan, and also the competition increasing thus in labor market, put system of professional education before need of cardinal high-quality shifts for training.
It is necessary to tell also that support from our republic of a national originality of the region through preservation of national languages and introduction to the maintenance of subject matters of regional components is necessary. Also support of a national originality of the region due to preservation of labor and cultural traditions is necessary.
